How to identify an awning model before ordering parts
Do not select a spare part by appearance or awning width alone. Record the brand, full model name and identifiers available on the unit or in its documentation. Photograph the identifiers, complete cassette and required component.
Check the family and mounting type
The Fiamma catalogue separates wall-mounted and roof-mounted winch awnings. These sections are starting points, not proof of spare-part compatibility. Compare the model with its documentation, then open the appropriate drawing.
Record the variant
Length, casing colour and component side can distinguish catalogue entries. The Omnistor 5003 table has separate numbers for lengths and colours; a drawing position number is not an ordering number.
If identification is missing
Do not infer the model from a photograph of a similar awning. Ask the seller to verify your photographs and available identifiers before ordering.
