Privacy enclosures – general information, compatibility and features

Preliminary checks (p. 133)

• The installation instructions are delivered with the enclosure and are also available on www.fiamma.com (product page and "downloads / Installation instruction").
• Check that nothing has been damaged or deformed during transport.
• Assemble according to the instructions; the product must not be modified in any way.
• The points of contact with the vehicle must be clean – sand, dust or dirt could damage the vehicle. During long stays clean the enclosure occasionally.
• To avoid stains, make sure there are no trees above the enclosure that can deposit resin.

Advantages (p. 133)

1. Resistant riveted ("jeans") seams prevent water from entering in case of rain.
2. The door can be positioned on the left or right side of the front thanks to the interchangeable zip.
3. Front and side panels connect simply and comfortably with a zip.

Installation (p. 134)

• Two people are recommended for installation.
• Open the awning max. 1 metre and lower the support legs.
• Read the installation instructions of the enclosure model.
• Before tapping in pegs and pins, close the windows by fastening them to the Velcro at the bottom. Always insert pegs and pins at a 45° angle.

Maintenance (p. 134)

• Condensation inside is caused by the difference between outside and inside temperature; good ventilation reduces it.
• Store the enclosure only when dry and preferably clean; residual humidity could cause stains. If you must pack it wet, reopen it within max. 12 hours to dry.
• Most dirt can be removed with clean water and a cloth or brush; for heavy dirt add a mild detergent (Marseille soap) and rinse carefully. Never use aggressive chemicals or a pressure washer.
• Transparent PVC windows: no detergents containing alcohol or solvents – only hot water and a soft cloth.
• Zips are subject to continuous stress: open and close gently and slowly, avoid excessive pulling when fixing to the ground; keep them sliding with zip spray.
• Curtains: wash at 30 °C with mild detergent. Curtain accessories, hooks, eyelets and windbreaks are wear parts.

Safety (p. 134)

• In case of rain, lower one pole so the water can run off.
• When contacting Fiamma always quote the data on the nameplate sewn on each panel of the enclosure (item identification number).

Fast Clip and installation kit (pp. 137–138)

• Fast Clip – lightweight, quick mounting system for Privacy Room, Privacy Room Light and Privacy Room CS Light / XL (2× A, 1× B, 1× C, 4× D – left and right; 4-step mounting as illustrated in the catalogue).
• The installation kit is installed only the first time; components need not be removed when closing the awning unless the instructions say otherwise. Available kits: p. 162.
