Preliminary checks
- The installation instructions are delivered with the product and are also available on www.fiamma.com (on the product page and under “downloads / Installation instruction”).
- Check that nothing has been damaged or deformed during transport.
- The product must be assembled according to the instructions and must not be modified in any way.
- To avoid stains, check that there are no trees above the panel that can deposit resin.
How to choose the right panel
In the catalogue, symbols next to each product show the type of vehicle (motorhome, caravan, van, car), the type of panel (front panel – closes the front of the awning; side panel – closes the side) and what it is suitable for: sun, rain, wind.
Maintenance
- Store the panel only when it is dry and preferably clean.
- Remaining humidity can cause stains. If you have to close it while still wet, reopen it after max. 12 hours to let it dry.
- Most dirt is superficial and can be removed with clean water and a cloth or brush.
- If the fabric is very dirty, add a light detergent (Marseille soap); carefully rinse off any residue.
- Never use aggressive chemicals and never clean the fabric with a high-pressure washer.
- Transparent PVC windows: do not use detergents containing alcohol or solvents; wash only with warm water and a soft cloth.
