Awning adapters and brackets

Overview of Fiamma adapters (brackets) for wall or roof installation of awnings (cat. pp. 94–121). The right adapter depends on the type of vehicle (motorhome, caravan, van), the vehicle data (brand, model & year) and the installation (wall / roof).

All bracket codes in the following catalogue pages are suitable for the left guide unless otherwise indicated. Symbols used in the tables:

• ● – black finish brackets,
• * – for right-hand drive,
• ** – for left- and right-hand drive.

The profile dimensions of each bracket (in mm) are given in the catalogue drawings; they are left out of the wiki as they are meaningless without the drawing. The catalogue page is given for every section.

Installation advice and warnings (cat. pp. 94–97)

Catalogue page views – 94, 95, 96, 97

Preliminary check

• Always read the assembly instructions carefully before proceeding with the installation.
• If you want to install an enclosure or a Side panel, make sure the adapters are positioned taking into account the doors, windows and garage opening.
• Before installation, ensure compatibility with the vehicle. Checking that the wall/roof is sufficiently solid and suitable for guaranteeing the resistance of the anchoring points is always mandatory. If not, strength and compliance with the maximum load indicated in the instructions are not guaranteed and these points must be reinforced. The awning can be installed only when the brackets are perfectly aligned to the wall/roof of the vehicle.
• The awnings are fixed on the brackets so that the words “SUPPORT” on the awning correspond to the brackets.

Warnings

• Before installation, degrease the bracket with suitable products.
• Clean the part of the wall intended for installation with non-aggressive products suitable for the materials concerned.
• Slightly sand the surface concerned to improve the adhesion of the sealants.
• Use sealants suitable for the materials concerned and to prevent water from entering the installation holes.
• Use a specific primer in relation to the sealant used.
• Use the flat portion of the roof for the adapters to ensure a good alignment.
• Keep a minimum distance from lights and ventilation grills. Also check that the entrance door can be opened easily with the awning fully extended.

Finish: standard – the classic aluminium finish; black – makes the brackets less visible on the vehicle profile.

Installation on fixing kit

• Install the bracket or adapter following the specific installation instructions.
• The words “SUPPORT” on the awning must correspond to the brackets: this is indispensable for the two end brackets (located at the arm fixing points on the case). It is important, but not indispensable, for the central bracket(s), which only provide a mounting support.
• The brackets must always be well aligned with each other; if not, shim them with spacers.
• If the vehicle wall is not perfectly straight, place spacers between the bracket and the wall.

Installation on adapter (rail)

• Make sure the adapter is mounted in a straight line without curves or deformation due to the vehicle; shim appropriately if needed.
• The awning can be installed only when the brackets are perfectly aligned.

F35pro / F35 – wall installation (cat. p. 117–120)

Catalogue page views – 117, 118, 119, 120

Awnings: F35 · How to choose the right adapter · van fitting chart

New item numbers for the new F35 (2025)

Installing the new F35 on the existing brackets is possible from a functional point of view, but not recommended aesthetically (the bracket is too high in relation to the awning). New codes were therefore created with brackets sized for the new awning. (The catalogue says “on the 2025 brackets”; from the context, brackets made before 2025 are meant.)

Unchanged codes

The following codes remain unchanged and can be used to install either the F35pro or the F35 (restyling).

Installing the new F35 on brackets < 2025

Always follow the specific instructions for each kit.

• Case 1 – installation using adapters and bushings (supplied with the awning): 98655Z004, 98655Z005, 98655-748, 98655-747, 98655Z020, 98655-893, 98655Z009 (Kit Eriba Touring), 98655Z011 (Kit VW T4 Brandrup).
• Case 2 – installation using 2 adapters (supplied with the awning): 98655-142* (Kit Standard - Deep Black), 98655Z115, 98655-111, 98655-887, 98655Z033, 98655Z034, 98655-682, 98655Z035, 98655Z027 (all Deep Black). The asterisk next to 98655-142 is not explained in the catalogue.
